ANIMA NEGRA 2

GRAPE VARIETIES: 65% callet, 20% mantonegre-fogoneu, 15% syrah.

PRODUCTION: Harvest: Grapes are delicately hand picked using small 10kg boxes followed by manual selection.  Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks of 7,000 and 10,000 litres; temperature maintained at 28º.

MACERATION: Average of 17 days.

MALOLACTIC FERMENTATION: Stainless steel tanks.

BARREL-AGING: 12 months in barrels  Origen: 70% French oak and 30% American oak.  Age: 35% new barrels. 60 % are between 1 and 3 years old.

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.5% vol.

AN/2 is a wine that, like his older brother, shows the perfection and the personality of Mallorca and, once more, reminds us that there are excellent wines in places not so well known as Rioja. This is an elegant, caractered and very personal wine that will fill up your senses with the mediterranean flavour!

    • Visual
     Intense red with a little violet touch, clean and shiny.
    • Aroma
     Aromas of intense red and black fruits, and a little mineral touch. Reminiscent of wild flowers , spices and nice toasted flavours.
    • Taste
     Balanced , sweet and with a strong taste at the same time. Well balanced with the acids , and refreshing final taste. Will envolve around your senses and will persist in the final aroma.

    • Age: 10 months in barrels  (30% new oak barrels and  70% of second year on american barrels and third year in french oaks).
