Dating back to the 1800s Sant Blai is a typical mallorquin building which started life as a farm. The accommodation has now been tastefully created within the existing stables and outhouses.
The original mill has now been converted into a library and bodega/ wine cellar and the "safreig" water deposit is now a spacious pool complete with sun loungers and umberellas for shade to while away the hot summer days.
The finca has two ample double bedrooms, both with bathroom en-suite, and two self contained cottages with double bedroom, full bathroom, lounge/ dining room and small kitchen. Totally independent, with central heating and air conditioning in the cottages In addition the cottages also have TV, and music system. All the rooms are decorated with antique Majorcan furniture in a rustic style that creates an atmosphere of bygone times. All rooms have a spacious private porch or garden with external furniture. The rooms are converted barns; wood shed, storage outhouses and grain depository, now refurbished with original materials to maintain all the Majorcan style and character. Until recently the property was dedicated to farming. Just 6 km to the protected beaches and Natural Park of EsTrenc and 8 kms to the Calas of Majorca.
There is a large communal lounge sitting room that has satellite large screen television and hi-fi music equipment. There is an extensive DVD collection and many table/ board games to keep you occupied in the evenings.
Next to the mill is the swimming pool, this was originally the irrigation pool that has been transformed into a relaxing area to sunbathe and cool off in the water. The Finca was named after the old chapel of Sant Blai nearby, that dates back to XIII century. Our Finca is a refuge that invites you to spend days of complete rest different from the normal daily routine of work and family. Enjoy the absolute tranquillity and the homely, amiable atmosphere, relaxation with all the necessary comforts.
At Sant Blai we try to maintain the agricultural traditions typical of a small farm - in the surrounding gardens and land you will find an organic orchard and vegetable garden to which all our guests have access. Animals are also a large part of our oasis, with pony; donkies; chickens; rabbits, cats; goldfish; frogs and our crazy alsation cross called Vespa. All the surroundings are natural and magical.
